A fun little story about this couple… Six years ago on a Saturday afternoon, I was walking downtown when I spotted a man midway through a proposal. The photographer in me immediately spotted that there was no photographer in sight to capture their moment! I happened to have my camera on hand and started snapping photos of their engagement secretly. Once the magic moment ended, I walked towards them and told them that I secretly took photos of their engagement. They were thrilled! I then offered to proceed with a portrait session and they accepted.

It was such a special and beautiful moment shared between strangers. The couple had told me that they had only known each other for 2 months which made this even more exciting. It felt so good to do something good with my photography and give back in this way. They are still together today.
